The RACGP has confirmed they will provide an online cultural awareness course available for FREE to all its members. This online module will be available by the end of August.

RACGP will manage the process for localised cultural awareness training for providers to register their training and/or information days as part of the RACGP’s Quality Assurance & Continuing Professional Development Framework.

The standards will be developed for locally developed Cultural Awareness training before the end of September, so local programs can be submitted and accredited at that time.

HRDGP plans to maintain a register of locally endorsed cultural awareness training courses and will call for expressions of interest for training sessions to be delivered in locations throughout the Division, and will assist providers in coordinating the delivery of local training.
