Cold Chain Management is vital to ensure the efficiency of all vaccines.

Strive for 5 is the National Vaccine Storage Guidelines and is a user-friendly guide to vaccine storage.
 

COLD CHAIN AUDITS

Cold chain audits should be conducted annually or if there has been a problem with your vaccine fridge.

Self auditing is important because:
  • it is part of routine quality assurance and risk management processes
  • it enables you to have confidence that you are providing a safe and effective vaccine
